Founder | Licensed Aesthetician
Amna Rafiq is the founder of The Skin Lounge, a boutique holistic medical spa in Fort Collins rooted in science and blended with Eastern beauty rituals. With a barrier-first, pro-age philosophy, she specializes in regenerative, non-invasive skin therapies designed to strengthen, sculpt, and restore the skin from within.
Her approach is deeply personal and education-driven. Every treatment begins with thoughtful analysis and a long-term strategy, guiding clients toward sustainable skin health rather than quick fixes. Amna is known for her precision, transparency, and ability to translate complex skincare science into clear, actionable guidance.

Timothy J. Allen, M.D.
Medical Director | Neurologist
Medical Director for The Skin Lounge, Timothy J. Allen, M.D., is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is licensed to practice medicine in the State of Colorado and Wyoming.
Dr. Allen earned his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University, where he majored in Psychology with a minor in Music, graduating with High Distinction, Honors, and Phi Beta Kappa. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree, with Honors, from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1993. Following medical school, Dr. Allen completed an internship in Internal Medicine and went on to complete his residency in Neurology through advanced training at UCLA and the University of Colorado, where he also served as Chief Resident.
As Medical Director, Dr. Allen provides clinical oversight and medical governance to ensure that all advanced aesthetic and skin-intensive services at The Skin Lounge meet the highest standards of safety, ethics, and medical integrity.
