Long gone are the days when I would wake up, look in the mirror, and see a flawless complexion. Yes, estheticians have skin challenges, too. And I had my share!
It’s taken me a long time to gather up the courage to share photos my personal skincare journey. Was it fear that held me back? Afterall, don’t we all want to be seen in the best light? Then I realized that my journey might encourage and inspire you. It’s time to put all pretense aside and give you a glimpse of the skin I once struggled with—and the skin I have now. My Skin BEFORE Environ®
Don’t forget to take those Before pictures when embarking on a new skincare regimen. Changes can be subtle, but BIG, over time and you can quickly forget what your skin looked and felt like before.
In my 30’s, I developed an intense interest in skincare. I would drop a hundred dollars here and another hundred there at stores like Sephora and Dermstore.com. I devoured beauty magazines and bought into all the “miracle” skincare product claims and would drop even MORE money in pursuit of miracles. Seriously, I wonder how many women break the bank each month because of their makeup and skincare purchasing habits? Anyway, with more and more choices I was left more and more confused. What really worked? I made it my mission to find out.
I Tried It All
When I say I have tried it all, believe me, I HAVE TRIED IT ALL. I have used all varieties of moisturizers, exfoliants, eye gels, masks, and serums. They’ve ranged from $5 drugstore brands all the way up to the $500 high end products! And you know what? None of them ever really worked for me. It was so unbelievably frustrating—switching from one brand to another in hopes of finding the magic products, but it was the only thing I knew to do.
Then I Met Georgia Louise
In 2015, I took a life-changing trip. I had just received my esthetician’s license and had a celebratory weekend in New York City with my husband. On my “Big Apple bucket list” was a visit to celebrity facialist, Georgia Louise. The experience I had at her Manhattan spa was unlike any other! Georgia is AMAZING! It took me a split second to realize why she is one of the world’s most sought after facialists. Her knowledge, techniques and expertise blew me away. It was Georgia who introduced me to Environ® Skin Care.
We all love a good day at the spa. But spa visits alone do not produce fantastic looking skin. More important is the everyday care you show it. My Skin AFTER Environ®
Wow! What a difference a year made. This is my skin after using the Environ Skin Care line for 12 months. The regimen was not complicated, simply a cream cleanser, toner, serum and moisturizer daily and a hydrating mask 2-3 times a week. It’s what’s IN the Environ line that makes it a winner—lots of vitamin A and vitamin C!
What’s Special About Environ Skin Care?
So what’s the big deal about Environ? In 1990, Environ Skin Care was the first to introduce vitamin A into skin care formulations and has become the cornerstone ingredient in the Environ philosophy. My skin had made a gradual transformation from dry and flaky to clear and radiant. I was sold and decided that when I opened my own spa, that Environ would be my star line. Now in my second year of business in Fort Collins, my clients rave about Environ and what it has done for their skin. Not a day goes by that I don’t share this beautifully curated skincare line with someone!
When I think back to that trip to New York City, I smile! I am so fortunate to have met Georgia and brought a little of her and the Big Apple home with me to Fort Collins to share with you.
